Printout shootout
Article Abstract:
It is important to undertake some basic research before choosing an inkjet printer. It is worth looking at printer reviews in on-line computer magazines, for example, and it may be useful to look at corporate Web sites in order to establish priorities, such as speed and size. For printers costing around $400, the main manufacturers are Epson and Hewlett-Packard, but it is also worth considering Lexmark and Canon. Hewlett-Packard's 680 and 693c present strong competition for the Epson Stylus 600, 800 and Stylus Photo.
