Article Abstract:
Telus Corp's 'Diner' TV spot, featuring a man demonstrating frantically how voice mail works, was not really the work of genius. Telus, which picked Ogilvy and Mather Canada for the ad, is a company that likes that kind of advertising and fights for ideas while Ogilvy can always keep pace with want Telus wants. The latter showed in the ad that voice mail is cheap even if answering machines may cost next to nothing.
