Question selection for multi-attribute decision-aiding

Article Abstract:

A research to aid the facilitator in selecting the next best question to ask that would efficiently lead the decision-maker (DM) to a most preferred alternative is given. The question-response process is modeled as a sequential decision-making problem under uncertainty and a dynamic programming-based approach giving a finite, potential computable representation of the expected optimal cost-to-go function is developed.

Article Abstract:

An economy-energy-environment multiple objective model based on the linear structure of inter-industry production linkages is presented. The study provides decision-makers with a comprehensive model, which allows assessing environmental burdens with respect to changes in economic activities consistent with distinct policy measures.
