Strategic performance measurement and incentive compensation
Article Abstract:
Strategic performance measurements help to identify factors which determine a company's success and then evaluate individual employee's performance in relation to these factors so they can be rewarded accordingly. A company has to identify its primary objectives and decide on methods to achieve them. This shapes the roles of the key stakeholders such as employees. The relationship between the company and these stakeholders defines the company's secondary objectives.
