Goldman Sachs, the investment bank, has rated India to be one of the 6 cornerstone markets for investment. The other cornerstone markets are Japan, Australia, Greater China, Singapore and Korea. In terms of size, Goldman Sachs rates India third. Japan and Greater China occupy the first two places respectively. Following this rating, Goldman Sachs has decided to establish Goldman Sachs India Ltd. The bank already has 2 ventures with the Kotak Mahindra Finance group. (um) (kvr)

BHPV BAGS 8-CR ORDER FROM IOC
Article Abstract:
The Bharat Heavy Plate and Vessels Ltd (BHPV) has won a Rs8 crore order from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) of Mumbai. According to the contract, the Bharat Heavy Plate and Vessels Ltd has to supply 3 moulded pressure vessels to the bottling plant of the Indian Oil Corporation in Jammu for storing liquefied petroleum gas/propane.
