Financial regulation in the UK has reached the point where both major political parties are agreeing that it must be reformed. The Labor Party wants to do away with various regulatory agencies and create a more powerful Securities and Investments Board, but the plan may not go far enough.

One small step: Labour's training policy
Article Abstract:
The UK's Labour Party proposed radical changes to the Youth Training program if elected because of the lack of success with the program. The changes would include better focus on core skills needed for any type of job and government grants to aid the funding of training.
