Refusing to Quayle
Article Abstract:
Dan Quayle is well known, though he has tended to be a figure of fun. He was a vice-president of the US when George Bush was president, and his gaffes were well-known. He is campaigning for the Republican nomination, and his opponents include the son of the former president, George W. Bush, who has more financial backing. Quayle is competing in Iowa, and he stresses mod-western values. Bush treated Quayle with less respect than Al Gore has been treated by Bill Clinton.
