Reitz's odyssey: the longest film

Director Edgar Reitz has completed the sequel to his 16-hour epic 'Heimat,' which followed a German family from 1918 to 1960. The sequel, 'Die Zweite Heimat,' covers the 1960's. At 26 hours in length, it is the longest movie ever made.

Hollywood rediscovers its touch
Article Abstract:
Hollywood is finally producing a better variety of interesting films than in did in 1991. Though many are flawed, such films as 'Dracula,' 'A River Runs Through It' and 'Malcolm X' are more creative endeavors than last year's films.
