Joy of funerals: through loss, an only child finds missing pieces of her life
Article Abstract:
Funerals are usually occasions that allow people to share their sorrow over the loss of a family member. She finds it ironic that her joy depends upon a gathering whose social purpose is to unburden personal sadness.
