Risk sharing in licensing
Article Abstract:
Demand and cost uncertainties tend to influence the design of linear license contracts. License contract integrates a fixed free with an ad valorem royalty when demand uncertainty exists. On the other hand, a license contract that integrates either type of royalties together with a fixed fee may arise under the presence of cost uncertainty. A correlation between the use of royalties in license contracts and uncertainty was established.

Quantifying the effects from horizontal mergers in European competition policy
Article Abstract:
The ways in which merger analysis in Europe can be enhanced are examined. A measurement of the impacts of horizontal mergers in European competition policy is presented. Nested logit models, differentiated product markets, competition policy, etc. are also discussed in detail.

Hold-up of anti-competitive mergers
Article Abstract:
The ways of controlling the delay of anti-competitive mergers, which are more beneficial for competitors than the merging companies, are examined. This analysis is done by making a model of endogenous mergers.
