Roe heads new leveraged finance team at Salomon

Former Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) executive Bruce Roe has joined investments bank Salomon Brothers as its European acquisition and leveraged finance market director in the United Kingdom. Roe believes that Salomon has a bright future in Europe and proposes to grow his group in London, England. His acquisition and leverage finance group at CSFB was the largest in Europe.

Europe had a good year in 2000 for leveraged buyouts with an increase of 56% compared to 1999. Increased competition has changed the nature of the leveraged market to one with more complicated acquisition structure.
