One big purple slurp
Article Abstract:
Seven-Eleven Food Stores launched in Sep 2000 a creative two-for-one promotion on the Yahoo! Canada site to attract Canadian teenagers, 12 to 17, to buy the chain's grape slush Slurpees. The promotion offered unique greeting cards that teens could send to their friends by e-mail. These cards come with a coupon with a bar code that entitles the bearer one free drink at any Seven-Eleven store with the purchase of a 22-ounce grape Slurpee.
