Government officials responsible for the tortured deaths of hundreds of thousands of Rwandans are finally standing trial before a United Nations tribunal. The difficult process of prosecuting the accused offenders is being made doubly difficult by an incompetent and indifferent bureaucracy.

Article Abstract:
Killings of Christians by other Christians during the Rwandan civil war have created deep divisions in the Catholic Church. Tutsi Christians went to the churches for refuge and then were slaughtered by fellow church members and clergy who happened to be Hutu.
