The trawler Harvest Krotoa of the Sea Harvest company, South Africa, landed her catch in 500 litre tubs allowing fishes to be in slurry ice thereby preserving its quality. Her crane would offload fishes at the port while the on board ice machine production would take care of ships ice requirements.
