SBI PLANS CREDIT BUREAU SERVICES
Article Abstract:
State Bank of India (SBI) plans to be a leading player in the credit card business in the next three years. It also plans to tie up with other agencies to set up joint ventures for corporate credit services. SBI has recently launched SBI Card in Chennai. The bank has started working on promoting its credit bureau venture along with its associate banks and other agencies. SBI has sold 30,000 credit cards within four months of its launch. (gs)(m)

CBAY SYSTEMS TIES UP WITH CREDENCE TECH

Credence Transcription Pvt Ltd (CTPL), a unit of Credence Technology Pvt Ltd has entered into an alliance with CBay Systems Ltd of USA for medical transcription business in India. The new joint venture firm will impart training in medical transcription from February 1999. The company hopes to earn a revenue of Rs2.5 crore during 1999-2000 AD through the new business. (gs)(vr)
