MASCOT SYSTEMS OFFERS SHADOW STOCKS TO STAFF

Mascot Systems Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mastech Corporation of the US, has offered a shadow stock option scheme to its 450 employees in India. The employees will be issued shadow stock of the US-based parent company at $18.9 per share. The parent company can buy an equivalent number of its own shares in the US to reflect the purchase of shadow stock in India. Shadow stock has already been issued to 44 employees under the scheme, which has a lock-in period of two years. (khr)

MCCL PLANS TO PLACE PART EQUITY WITH FOREIGN FI

Mahindra Construction Company Ltd (MCCL) of Chennai is to place privately some equity shares with a leading foreign financial institution (FI). The FI has agreed to invest about Rs15 crore in MCCL's equity. This move is to expand MCCL's capital base from Rs5 crore to Rs25 crore. The price of the share has not yet been decided. MCCL builds industrial complexes. (uh)
