Srinivasa Hatcheries Ltd (SHL) is a leading company in the Indian poultry industry. SHL which began its operations with 6000 layer parents capacity has at present 243,000 layer parents. The promoters of the company, Srinivasa Hatcheries group, hold 28.70 percent share in the equity of SHL while public holds 21 percent. Banks hold 0.67 percent stake, corporate bodies 49 percent and NRIs 0.63 percent. SHL which has 35 percent share in broiler market has announced bonus issue of one share for every two shares held. TLC SHAREHOLDERS OKAY MERGER WITH HARITA SRINIVASA

The shareholders of TVS Lakshmi Credit Ltd (TLC) have approved of the merger of TLC and Harita Finance Ltd (HFL) with Harita Srinivasa Finance Private Ltd (HSFPL). The merged entity will retain the name, Harita Finance Ltd. The merged entity will have a net worth of Rs26 crore and equity of Rs14 crore. CC Chokshi & Co, Mumbai has undertaken the valuation of the three companies. The merged entity will focus on consumer durables and two wheeler financing. (rk)

SRINIVASA HATCHERIES DECLARES 1:2 BONUS

Srinivasa Hatcheries (SH) of the VH Group, has declared its maiden bonus issue of 1:2 bonus shares to its shareholders. SH's division in Vijayawada has 243,000 parent birds while its broiler unit at Visakhapatnam has 39,000 birds. SH has an authorised capital of Rs3.5 crore and a paid-up equity capital of Rs3.24 crore. It has posted a net profit of Rs6.64 crore on sales of Rs34 crore. (gs)
