Article Abstract:
The Asian real estate market has seen a drop in prices and a rise in office vacancy rates, and this affects banks that have lent to real estate companies. The Thai Financial Restructuring Authority will auction problem real estate loans with a $6 billion book value, in an effort to tackle the problem. Asian economies are all affected by an oversupply of real estate, but there are differences from one economy to another.
