Sauber: the right formula
Article Abstract:
Racer and sports car manufacturer Peter Sauber's passion for car racing got a much needed boost when he joined forces with the Fritz Kaiser Group and Red Bull and Petronas. Sauber, who started with sports car racing, went one step higher by joining the Formula One competitions. The two sponsors, Red Bull and Petronas, benefit from their partnership with Sauber in terms of marketing and cutting edge technologies. Sauber's F1 cars are made of carbon fiber baked in an autoclave or pressurized oven. The technology used is so advanced that they are often consulted by military aviation firms.

Ina via da velos
Article Abstract:
Canton Graubunden is a haven for mountain bikers and has been given the nickname 'ina via da velos' or a bicycle path in Romantsch in English. Bicyclists can use Route 2 to reach Heidi's newly-restored original house near the Lichtenstein border or the Oberalp Pass. They can have a meal or a drink along the various inns dotting the way or enjoy numerous riverside picnic spots. Bikes could be rented and returned at any of the 18 Rhatische Bahn stations in the canton. Those who have their own bikes can transport them aboard trains for only 10 francs a day.

The Swiss Army - preparing for 2000 plus
Article Abstract:
Switzerland has initiated a wide range of reforms for its army in the post-Cold War era. The Swiss Army first adopted a security policy known as Army 95 followed by Army 200X in anticipation of global changes in the 21st century. The military, with its capacity of 400,000 soldiers, is mandated to help civilians in time of disaster and to prevent war while maintaining a principle of neutrality. However, the Swiss Army faces a host of challenges in trying to reform itself such as the difficulty of recruiting enough officers and using modern war equipment.
