Frank and Edgar
Article Abstract:
A talk by Christopher Wilk at The Thirties Society on Frank Lloyd Wright and Edgar Kaufmann concentrated mainly on Wright's work for Kaufmann on the Fallingwater project. The project was the best demonstration of Wright's artistic and engineering abilities, and was made from glass, sandstone and concrete. Wright also designed an office for Kaufmann at the latter's store in Pittsburgh, and this was later donated to the Victoria & Albert Museum.
