Article Abstract:
Investors are turning to contractual and management strategies to ensure confidentiality in protecting their business secrets. Confidentiality clauses are widely-used in employment contracts, but the concept is new to employees. High staff turnover also burdens the employer.

Shenyang up for sale
Article Abstract:
Officials in the heavy industrial city of Shenyang, Liaoning, China have said they will use any measures necessary to entice foreign investors to establish joint ventures with debt-ridden state firms. This means tax breaks of up to 10%, franchising state-owned companies to reduce investment capital, and reducing the burden to employees of layed-off workers. However company-appointed officials fear underselling state assets and losing their jobs.
