Seeking an MBA in Asia
Article Abstract:
Business schools in Asia emphasize the value of a local education that costs less, offers a greater opportunity to make regional contacts, and allows graduates to meet experts on Asian business. Ivy League diplomas may be more respected overall but typically cost far more and are no more selective. Managers in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Australia hold MBA degrees in low esteem, but managers in in India, the Philippines, and Thailand consider them important. Many Asian schools are forming joint programs and even exporting them regionally.

Goodbye to prudery: state-run sex shop offers range of devices and elixirs
Article Abstract:
China's first state-owned sex store, the Adam & Eve Health Care Centre, has opened in Peking. This is a startling innovation in a country where sex was traditionally viewed as an entirely private matter. Along with other developments such as a sex-oriented radio talk show in Shanghai, the granting of permission for the store indicates that the Chinese government may be adopting a more open attitude toward sex. The store features an array of sexual aids, treatments for sexual problems and also functions as an informal source of counseling.
