Article Abstract:
Egypt's economy has improved in recent years, as its gross domestic product has gained about 5% annually since 1990. Part of the improved economy is due to the write-off of $15 billion in debt owed to the International Monetary Fund, Pres Hosni Mubarak's economic policies and private investment.
