Small business-bank relationships and the role of internet banking
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the state of the small business-bank relationship, and determine whether the Internet may be used to improve this relationship. A qualitative research method was used. Findings show the possibility of migrating small businesses into remote delivery if they are not encouraged by banks to use a mix of alternative delivery channels. Results also show a lack of differentiation in banks' approach to small firms.
