Jean-Francois Theodore, Euronext N.V. of the Netherlands projects that the securities market will be dominated by two or three worldwide exchanges in the next five years. Consolidations in the securities industry are currently a trend. Euronext N.V. is waiting on a merger with NYSE Group Inc. of the United States.
