Soccer's security council
Article Abstract:
Some countries have been especially successful with their soccer teams, and they include Brazil and the Netherlands. The size of the country can be a help, which is true for Brazil, though the Netherlands' success may have more to do with a style of playing which has been tested for some time. Soccer players tend to be rootles, and move from one country to another. This may affect some national characteristics and the links between winning and the site of the game.

How dare he think?
Article Abstract:
England soccer coach, Glen Hoddle, stated that people may be born with disabilities because of bad karma accumulated in previous lives. Some disabled people were upset, and a number of newspapers criticised Hoddle. It is difficult to see his statement as offensive enough to merit the loss of his job. Freedom of speech is a right that should be enjoyed by soccer coaches as well as intellectuals such as Salman Rushdie, who has also offended people.
