Solvay Pharmaceuticals ambitionne un r le depremier plan au 21 me si cle
Article Abstract:
Solvay, the Belgian chemical group, is going to focus greatly on its Solvay Pharmaceuticals branch of medications in the next century. The group's goal is to hold 1% of the world medication market with its products in five domains - psychiatry, cardiology, gastro-enterology, and gynecology. The leader of the world pharmaceutical market holds a 5% market share. Solvay Pharmaceutical's strategy for improving its turnover and profitability is based on four points: consolidation on health products, a balanced distribution of turnover in each geographical area due mainly to increased sales in the United States, and in Asia, and the establishment of research alliances. The group is not ruling out making acquisitions, particularly in the domain of hormone replacement therapy.

Levi Strauss Europe emm nage dans ses nouveaux bureaux
Article Abstract:
Levi Strauss Europe, the subsidiary of the American group responsible for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa, has made their new base at 20.000m offices in the Ixelles region of Brussels. Compelled to move due to a lack of space which affected the productivity of their personnel, the company cites several reasons for choosing the Belgian site. In addition to demonstrating a commitment to the country where they have been present since 1971, Levi Strauss was attracted by the high proportion of expatriates in Brussels which should make American integration easier. The sites proximity to the airport was also a deciding factor.
