Space to display rolling stock
Article Abstract:
The recently completed Rail Transport Gallery, at Cultra, UK, is a modern piece of architecture with hints of the past designed by the Belfast, UK-based architects, Ian Campbell and Partners. The museum cost 1.895 million pounds sterling, and displays stream trains. Its aluminium curved roof is similar to Victorian railway stations. The museum was located at the Uster Folk and Transport Museum, because it has a connection to the Bangor-Belfast railway line. The views of the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum as client, and others involved in construction of the new museum are also discussed.

Our kind of architecture
Article Abstract:
The Royal Institute of British Architects is holding an exhibition of the designs of Wilford Stirling Wilford, architects practice, in June 1996. Wilford Stirling Wilford endeavours not to belong to a particular group obsessed with technology or history, preferring to blend technology and practicality with formality and informality, using new products, and not forgetting the contribution of history. The practice hopes to keep triggering a positive public response.
