Stocks in Asia posted gains
Article Abstract:
The stock valuation which took place in Asian markets during the early part of April 1998 did not only delight investors, but generated fears among analysts, as well. Although stock values rose from record lows, economic experts fear that the trend signifies another looming market fluctuation. They further claim that the stock upsurge was caused by massive restructuring activities initiated by securities companies and is partly buoyed by low interest rates, limited inflation and high earnings.
