Subtleties lost amid too much reverence
Article Abstract:
The exhibition of the works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh currently being held at the McClellan Galleries in Glasgow, Scotland, covers more than 300 works of art. These include furniture, drawings and paintings. However, it is somewhat disappointing, as the works of Mackintosh are now highly sought after and have therefore lost their earlier controversial and exciting qualities. The exhibition does include some material which has not previously been shown.
