The East German government wants to check the growing practice of its citizens obtaining visas by camping in western embassies. Stronger restrictions on communications between East German and West German families have been implemented. Security of foreign embassies has been tightened. An estimated 200,000-500,000 East Germans have filed for visas to migrate. The East German government wishes to promote improved East-West German relations.

Similarities between organic and cuprate superconductors
Article Abstract:
Recent research shows that organic and cuprate superconductors share some of the same physics, such as unusual metallic properties. Both organics and cuprates have a layered structure that creates highly anisotropic electronic properties.
