Sweden expands its family of airborne countermeasures systems
Article Abstract:
CelsiusTech Electronics of Sweden is extending its BO line of airborne countermeasures with seven new or upgraded products. These include the latest version of its BOL chaff dispenser, which is being tested in the US aboard an F-15 where it is integrated into the LAU-128 launcher for AMRAAM air-to-air missiles. In addition to dispensing conventional chaff, the BOL can dispense a newly developed material designed to counter missiles carrying infrared seekers.
