Taiwan, the homeland
Article Abstract:
A genetic research carried out on pacific population to understand the migration pattern of Austronesian (people residing in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Polynesia, Madagascar, New Zealand and Taiwan) suggests that genetic origin of Austronesian took place in Moluccas region of Indonesia rather than Taiwan. The steps taken by the Taiwan's government to project itself as the homeland of Austronesian people have been described.

Taiwan: avoiding a train wreck
Article Abstract:
China and Taiwan are headed towards a geopolitical train wreck. A focus on the strategic interest of China and Taiwan would not only avoid the train wreck but also would allow for a significantly new and far more stable relationship.
