Ericsson to buy London office building
Article Abstract:
Telefon AB L.M. Ericsson has agreed to acquire an office building in London, UK, raising the possibility that the company may relocate its headquarters away from Sweden. Although the new office building in London will be used to accomodate the company's local personnel, the company said that it will decide in October 1998, whether it will also relocate personnel from its Swedish headquarters near Stockholm and elsewhere to the London office. Company spokeswoman Pia Gideon, said that the UK market is becoming important to the company.
