Rapper Ice-T has withdrawn the song 'Cop Killer' from his album to avoid boycotts and threats against his recording company Warner Brothers Records. His album 'Body Count' will be rereleased without the one track. Police feared it would incite violence against them by African-Americans.

First-generation pen computers can read spaced, blocked letters written by pen but have trouble with cursive writing. Two approaches to cursive-recognition software are Freeman coding being developed by Roke Manor Research and CalliGrapher by ParaGraph International.
