Terror in Russia
Article Abstract:
There are a number of rumors as to who the terrorists are who have carried out a bombing campaign in Russia. There is concern that democracy could be curtailed due to emergency measures brought in to tackle the threat from the bombing campaign. Russians themselves have to develop democracy, set up a market economy and establish respect for the law. President Boris Yeltsin was once able to achieve progress in Russia, but this has ceased to be true. Voteres deserve a more effective president.
