The Eurofighter effect
Article Abstract:
The Eurofighter, the new generation fighter aircraft developed and produced by the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain, gives the pilot the edge in tactical warfare, said experts. The cockpit's person-machine interface and high degree of automation free the pilot from many operational concerns, giving the pilot more time to concentrate on the battle at hand. Moreover, the aircraft's highly flexible weapons system can adapt to the status of on-board sensors, either taking in all inputs or only some of them if the system is degraded.
