The French baby food market
Article Abstract:
The food/beverages and baby milk segments of the French baby food market indicates that baby food and beverages account for 82% of market volume versus 18% for baby milk. However, their share is only 58% in terms of value. Baby food market sales have grown through introductions of value-added and new products to satisfy consumer trends toward natural and healthy products. The baby food market is one of the most active food markets in France, but its sales growth has been inhibited by decreasing birth rates.
