The analysis of optimal control model in matching problem between manufacturing and marketing
Article Abstract:
A mathematical model developed helps in solving the optimal control problem in matching between marketing and manufacturing, when the demand in the market has the property of linearity. The relative size of the output yielded by minimizing average cost and by maximizing profit at constant-zero inventory can determine the sales rate and the optimal production rate.

Reducing incremental costs associated with the delegation of incentive contracting decisions: an analysis of planning and control decisions in a manufacturing setting in the presence of moral hazard
Article Abstract:
A model that is based on agency theory is presented to analyze the demand allocation and incentive contracting decisions under the centralization and delegation arrangements in a manufacturing organization that produces a single product and operates two independent facilities with limited production capacities.

A non-radial DEA approach to measuring environmental performance
Article Abstract:
The usage of data env elopment analysis to derive a non-radial efficiency measure for the environmental performance of manufacturing units, based on the measurement of undesirable outputs according to the Malmquist productivity index, is described.
