Export information acquisition modes: measure development and validation
Article Abstract:
Efficiency in carrying out information acquisition activities may be achieved by adopting a three-tier approach to export marketing which consists of export marketing research, export assistance and export market intelligence. The proposed approach does not only guarantee internal consistency, but optimize unidimensionality and validity as well. The method further serves as an efficient means of evaluating the antecedents and consequences of various information acquisition applications.
