The changing face of SMEs
Article Abstract:
The managers of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK are generally not as good at effectively managing change as their counterparts in some other European countries, according to a report from the 3i European Enterprise Centre. SME management is most effective in Germany, where there is strong emphasis on factors affecting change. UK SMEs are generally equally divided between those which invest on a per-project basis and those which take a structured approach.
