The computer archaeologist
Article Abstract:
Virtual reality computer models allow archaeologists to create a computer enhanced picture of historic buildings, providing information on construction methods and every-day use. Three-dimensional (3D) models can be used for both research and restoration purposes, providing intricate details which could not be visualized without the aid of computer technology. Archaeologists can explore historic buildings by taking a virtual reality journey built up through the use of pictures, research and technology.
