More space needs to be made on the broadcasting spectrum for cellular radio phones. Mobile telecommunications is one the fastest growing forms of communication but it is limited by other mediums such as television, radio and cable television taking up all the broadcasting frequencies.

Re-regulation frenzy

Voters have many complaints about the monopolistic cable television industry. The passing of a Senate bill to regulate the industry has been the response. The American telecommunication policy must be one that increases both government revenue and opens up competition.
