The manner of oustering of Joseph Estrada, President of Philippines is described. Estrada lost support of the military in what could be termed as a bloodless coup. His vice-president, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was sworn in as the new President. Arroyo has tough tasks ahead of her and only three and a half years accomplish the same in.
