The man who keeps saying no
Article Abstract:
Shinatro Ishihara may become governor of Tokyo, and is among six serious candidates for the governorship. Japan has been affected by unemployment and bankruptcies, and some observers see Ishihara's revisionist views as appealing due to frustration about the country's economic situation. Ishihara is among Japanese politicians who argue that the US has exercised too much control over the Japanese economy, and too many concessions have been made to open up the market.
