The right connection
Article Abstract:
Nokia and Ericsson, Scandinavisa's two largest mobile phone manufacturers, have contrasting marketing styles. Nokia, based in Finland, tries to lure consumers with eye-catching designs, notably the 5110 model which has a removable colored clip on covers. The Finnish company is also marketing its phones at specific target groups such as affluent women. On the other hand, Sweden's Ericsson does not even try to show its products on its advertisements but uses everyday sounds such as a beating heart and speeding car to send its 'Make yourself heard' message.
