Theme: paints, finishes and sealants
Article Abstract:
The correct choice of sealant or paint can make a difference to the overall cost of a building project. The materials themselves are often not costly although the work of applying them is very labour intensive which will increase costs. Architects should ensure contractors use products of a sufficient quality on their buildings. Paints and sealants not only make a building look attractive but provide protection for the underlying structures. Sealant manufacturers, Adshead Radcliffe, have produced a CDRom giving advice on their products and how to use them.
