Toothfish meeting 'a farce' - claim Australians
Article Abstract:
The fishing industry in Australia has requested the government to intervene and prevent illegal fishing vessels from catching Australian tooth fish from Australian water territories. The plea was made after the meeting of the Commission for the Conservation of Antartic Marine Living Resources, which the industry members felt, did little to address their protests. The case of IUU fishing is also mentioned.
