The household disposable paper products sector in Benelux from 1993 to 1997 is dominated by multinational tissue firms. Jamont significantly played a role in the market through its Okey brand. Kimberly-Clark was boosted by its Page and Scottex paper brands. Meanwhile, SCA's Domex brand in Belgium and and its Edet toilet paper brand in Netherlands boosted its performance during the review period. All private labels significantly affected and contributed to each companies' performance in the market during the review period. However, branded products had a hard time secureing premium pricing.

Three multinational firms Jamont, Procter & Gamble and SCA have played a major role in the incontinence sector of the disposable paper products market in Benelux from 1993 to 1997. SCA's Promise, Tena and Libra brands, Jamont's KayPlus brand and Procter & Gamble's Attends and Certina brands obtained secure positions in the market. Future trends in the market, however, cannot be determined considering the present performance.
