Truck International will decrease its stock
Article Abstract:
Truck International (TI) (Mnichovo Hradiste, Czech Republic), automotive company, will decrease its stock to 95.8 mil Kc in 2000 compared to the current 478.9 mil Kc. The step will solve the unfavourable development of TI's economy, the result of which is a cumulative loss of 2.315 bil Kc. TI plans to produce 500 lorries in 2000 compared to 138 pieces in 1999. TI is the former Skoda Liaz (Czech Republic).

Stredoceska Plynarenska expects its margin to decrease in 2000
Article Abstract:
Stredoceska plynarenska (SP) (Prague, Czech Republic), natural gas distributor, expects its margin to decrease by 60 mil Kc in 2000 compared to 1999. A reason for the drop is an increase in costs on the purchase of gas from Transgas (Czech Republic). SP saw proceeds of 3.8 bil Kc and a net profit of 122.7 mil Kc in 1999. The company has proposed to pay dividends of 50 Kc per share from the profit.

MTH expects its proceeds to decrease

MTH (Prague, Czech Republic), engineering company, expects its proceeds to decrease to 200-240 mil Kc in 1999 compared to 330 mil Kc in 1998. The main reason for the drop is the economic crisis in Russia. The firm expects a balanced economic result in 1999 compared to a loss of 7.5 mil Kc in 1998. MTH is the world's fifth largest manufacturer of special railway machines.
